Roma are on the verge of securing a double deal with Leeds United for Diego Llorente and Rasmus Kristensen, but not quite what was initially expected.

The negotiations had already been at an advanced stage over the last few days and intensified today, with Sky Sport Italia suggesting an agreement is imminent.

Llorente had already been on loan for the last six months at the Stadio Olimpico and the Giallorossi had intended to renew that with an added option to buy at the end of the season.

Instead, it is reported to be a dry loan for one year, so without an option to make it permanent.

The same goes for Kristensen, who again was meant to be moving on loan with an option for Roma to buy at the end of the season.

According to Sky Sport Italia, this is because Roma were unable to agree terms with Leeds United, but both players had clauses in their contracts allowing them to leave on loan in case of relegation from the Premier League.
