Fiorentina are reportedly pushing to sign Atalanta goalkeeper Juan Musso, while Udinese have set their sights on Barcelona‘s starlet Ángel Alarcón and Bologna want Celtic Glasgow defender Stephen Welsh.

Wednesday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport provides the latest updates regarding negotiations of Serie A clubs.

Fiorentina are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper and Atalanta’s Musso is the Tuscans’ priority. The Argentinean’s distribution skills are said to be highly appreciated by coach Vincenzo Italiano, but La Dea won’t sell for less than €12m.

Sampdoria‘s Emil Audero and Bari’s Elia Caprile are also on the Tuscans’ radars.

The pink paper adds on page 19 that Bologna are interested in Celtic centre-back Welsh. The Scotland international has made six competitive appearances across all competitions in 2022-23 and Celtic are reportedly open to sell for circa €1m.

According to the report, Everton’s Yerry Mina is also on the Rossoblu’s agenda.

Udinese are also quite busy with negotiations after the appointment of ex-defender Federico Balzaretti as their new director of football.

The Bianconeri have reached an agreement to sign Lorenzo Lucca from Ajax on loan with an option to buy for €8m.

According to Gazzetta (page 22), it’s a similar formula that Balzaretti wants to use to sign the versatile winger Alarcón from Barcelona. The 19-year-old has already made his senior debut with the Catalans and Udinese are willing to include in the deal an option to buy and a buy-back clause for the La Liga giants.
