In the build-up to the second leg of the Serie B promotion play-off final, the Bari players were paraded around the Stadio San Nicola in the team bus, which completed a lap of the stadium’s running track upon its arrival at the ground.
The San Nicola was packed to the rafters well over an hour before kick-off, with thousands of supporters gathering outside the stadium several hours ahead of the scheduled kick-off time.
Presumably to allow the players to experience the atmosphere in the ground and for supporters to wish their team good luck before kick-off, the coach slowly drove past the capacity crowd, much to the delight of those in the stands.
Bari and Cagliari are tied at 1-1 after the first leg of the tie, which will be officially settled later on Sunday night.
