Fiorentina full-back Dodo believes they can ‘raise the tempo, keep the ball and play good football’ in the Conference League Final against West Ham United.

It kicks off at the Eden Arena in Prague at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

“It is a great night, a Final, anything can happen, but our team plays really good football and I think we will put in a great performance,” Dodo told Sky Sport Italia.

This is the second Final of the season for Fiorentina, who took an early lead against Inter in the Coppa Italia showdown on May 24 only to then lose 2-1.

“We are all dreaming and concentrated for this game. West Ham play in the Premier League, but Serie A is very difficult too and we have had a great season that we can conclude tonight with an excellent game.”

Coach Vincenzo Italiano has made some surprising calls for the starting XI, with Luka Jovic and Christian Kouame preferred to Arthur Cabral and Jonathan Ikone, but above all Luca Ranieri in defence, when the doubt had seemingly been between Igor and Lucas Martinez-Quarta.

“All of us are playing, it is the last game of the season and we can all contribute, whether we are on the field or on the bench. I think we can raise the tempo, keep the ball and play good football,” added the Brazilian.

Fiorentina are the top scorers in the Conference League so far this season, but West Ham United are unbeaten and won all but one of their games in the tournament.
