Cristiano Giuntoli has an agreement with Juventus, but according to Il Corriere dello Sport, Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is unsure about releasing the sporting director, who has a year left in his contract.

Giuntoli has been one of the architects of Napoli’s Serie A title this season, but multiple reports in Italy claim the 51-year-old believes his time at the club is over and is looking for a new challenge.

Football Italia can confirm Giuntoli has reached an agreement with Juventus, but his €1.4m-a-year contract at the Stadio Maradona expires in June 2024.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, his future depends on Napoli President De Laurentiis, who hasn’t yet given his green light to Giuntoli’s departure.

Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United are also said to be monitoring the Italian director, who, however, seems eager to continue his career in Italy.

Giuntoli did not attend a meeting with coach Luciano Spalletti and De Laurentiis last week, suggesting he doesn’t see himself at the club in 2023-24, but whether or not he will join Juventus entirely depends on ADL.
