Amir Rrahmani has agreed to sign a new contract with Napoli, ready to extend his stay with the club until June 2028.
The 29-year-old Kosovan centre back has proven himself a key part of Luciano Spalletti’s high-flying Partenopei squad this season, seeing 2521 minutes of action across Serie A and the Champions League.
Rrahmani has been with Napoli since January 2020 after joining the club in a deal worth around €14.2m from Hellas Verona, finishing that season with the Gialloblu.
As detailed by Gianluca Di Marzio, Rrahmani’s agent Adrian Aliaj met with the Napoli management today, where the details of a new contract for the Kosovan defender were agreed.
The 29-year-old will pen a new deal tying him to the club until June 2027, with an automatic renewal option for a further year, essentially being a five-year deal.
Rrahmani will officially sign the contract with Napoli in the coming days, confirming his long-term future at the Serie A champions-in-waiting.
