Cremonese-Empoli

Davide Ballardini could make a handful of changes to the Cremonese team that beat Sampdoria last time out when Empoli visit the Stadio Giovanni Zini on Friday evening.

Whilst the back four and central defenders are expected to remain the same, La Cremo could swap out both wing-backs with Leonardo Sernicola and Emanuele Valeri tipped to be in line for a start.

There could also be an opportunity handed to Soualiho Meite in the middle of the Cremonese midfield.

Empoli are set to remain largely unchanged from the team that drew 0-0 with Milan at San Siro last Friday.

Martin Satriano could be given the nod from the off behind Paolo Zanetti’s two strikers in Francesco Caputo and Roberto Piccoli.

Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and Jean-David Akpa Akpro will miss out through their respective injuries.

Cremonee (3-5-2): Carnesecchi; Ferrari, Lochoshvili, Vasquez; Sernicola, Pickel, Meite, Castagenetti, Valeri; Desserts, Tsadjout.

Empoli (4-3-1-2): Perisan; Ebuehi, De Winter, Luperto, Parisi; Fazzini, Marin, Bandinelli; Satriano; Caputo, Piccoli.

Spezia-Lazio

Leonardo Semplici is expected to stick with the same Spezia team that started in last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina in Tuscany.

Simone Bastoni will miss out through suspension having accumulated one too many over the course of the season last Friday.

Similarly for Lazio under Maurizio Sarri, there are no changes to the line-up that beat Juventus 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico during the last round of fixtures.

Matias Vecino is likely to be the only player unavailable to Sarri and his team this weekend.

Spezia (4-3-3): Dragowski; Amian, Ampadu, Wisiniewski, Nikolaou; Bourabia, Ekdal, Zurkowski; Gyasi, Nzola, Maldini.

Lazio (4-3-3): Provedel; Hysaj, Casale, Romagnoli, Marusic; Milinkovic-Savic, Cataldi, Alberto; Anderson, Immobile, Zaccagni.
