Juventus fans are furious after video emerged from 2019 showing the prosecutor behind the Prisma investigation confirming he supports Napoli and declaring he hates the Bianconeri.

The FIGC penalised the Bianconeri by 15 Serie A points for artificially inflating transfer fees to boost capital gains, entirely based on new evidence that was provided by the public prosecutor in Turin.

That investigation into Juve’s finances, named Prisma, is still in progress and the chief prosecutor in charge of it is Ciro Santoriello.

A video from 2019 has now emerged and gone viral on social media, as it shows Santoriello talking very openly about where his football loyalties lie – and definitely do not lie.

The presenter of the event made a joke about their passion for the sport.

“There is a distance between us, seeing as you are a prosecutor and I am a lawyer, while you support Napoli and I support Inter.”

Santoriello then replied: “As long as it’s not Juventus.”

It’s not over as the prosecutor continued by saying: “I am a super fan of Napoli and I hate Juventus.”

Inevitably, this is going to raise some questions as to how unbiased the chief prosecutor is in this investigation, especially as the initial Juventus appeal has already claimed evidence from wiretaps was cherry-picked to support a position, ignoring other parts of the conversation.
