Could be a short campaign for all.
None are good enough for the CL. EL or Con L is a more realistic target for all Italian sides.
I’m afraid you’re right Ferban. Over the last two years especially, the gap between Italian teams and the top European clubs has widened considerably.
@Monte.
True. Covid knocked them back further too. The epl teams weren’t affected by that as much as the rest of Europe.
While that is true, they could all still reach the knockout rounds with a little luck in the draw, and from there on, anything can happen. They could even reach the semi final or the final. Stranger things have happened.
Being in Pot 1 helps a bit , although Pot 2 looks pretty tough as well.
Thought MIlan gave a good account of themselves last year against Liverpool , and against Athletico we werevery unlucky in the 1st game and won the away game. We let ourselves down badly against porto tho. The pace of the Cl is what catches italian teams out , hopefully milan this year with a bit more experience and quality can do better
I’d like to see how much all the teams in the tournament have earned and why the discrepancy.
