Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper reports that Spalletti informed Napoli players yesterday that ‘Koulibaly is almost gone’ openly admitting that the defender will leave the club in the summer.
The Senegal captain has rejected a contract extension offer from the club. Therefore, Partenopei need to sell their star defender this summer, given that he only has a year left in his contract at the Stadio Maradona.
Koulibaly has played 317 games during his eight-year spell at the club. He has won one Coppa Italia and one Italian Supercup during his time under the Vesuvius.
This past January, he captained Senegal to win the African Cup of Nations, the first international trophy in the country’s history.
Great news for chelsea and their defence
KK will own EPL. All the luck to him and Chelsea gets a monster for a reasonable fee
This means trouble for Juventus, they need at least 2CBs if they sell De Ligt (which looks likely)
Buona fortuna, Big Man! Now what the heck is Napoli going to do for defense?
