Juventus have pencilled in the date of Andrea Cambiaso’s medicals ahead of his move from Genoa.

The 22-year-old Italian full back attracted the Bianconeri’s attention after an incredibly strong season in Liguria, scoring one goal and providing four assists in 25 Serie A appearances as he proved himself tactically flexible and intelligent. Inter were also keen to pick up Cambiaso but they’ve seemingly missed out as they focus on other targets.

As reported by TMW, Cambiaso will undergo his medicals with Juventus on Monday before putting pen to paper on a four-year contract.

It remains to be seen whether he’ll remain part of Massimiliano Allegri’s squad in Turin or if he’ll be sent away on loan, with Bologna and Salernitana both interested in a temporary move.

The 22-year-old Cambiaso stood out last season with Genoa, with his 6.98 progressive dribbles per 90 making him one of the best forward-moving full backs in Italy.
