Lautaro Martinez touched on what he considers his best quality, who his role model is and what World Cup dreams he has.
The 24-year-old Argentinian forward had a great campaign last season under Simone Inzaghi, scoring 21 goals in 34 Serie A games, and he’s looking to build on this growth as he prepares for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar. Lautaro is also undoubtedly looking forward to being reunited on the pitch with Romelu Lukaku, re-creating the popular Lu-La duo up front.
Speaking on Lamborghini’s social media channels, Lautaro first discussed his best quality and his role model.
“My best quality? Always giving my best on the pitch, I always put in a lot of effort. My role model? My father.”
The 24-year-old then touched on his dream ahead of the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
“To play with the Argentinian national team, even at the World Cup. My goal is to do my best and try to improve every day, while my values are humility, hard work and always being responsible for what I do.”
The next 12 months will be very important for Lautaro as he has the chance to play a decisive role as Inter look to re-take the Scudetto from their intercity rivals Milan and a Lionel Messi-led Argentina look to win their first World Cup since 1986, when Diego Maradona made the difference.
