According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Matteo Politano has offered his services to Milan, but Gennaro Gattuso’s Valencia are also interested in the Italy international.

Politano is unhappy at Napoli and his agent blamed the Partenopei last week, saying that the club don’t have faith in him.

His contract at the Stadio Maradona runs out in June 2024, but given the circumstances, he is expected to leave in the summer.

Politano agent: ‘Napoli don’t have faith in him’

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the 28-year-old has offered his services to Milan, who are on the lookout for a new right winger. The Rossoneri will sign Junior Messias permanently but will listen to offers for Alexis Saelemaekers and Samu Castillejo, so they’ll need a new player on the right.

The Rome-based paper adds that Valencia are also interested in Politano, with new coach Gennaro Gattuso being an admirer of the former Sassuolo and Inter winger. Napoli are reportedly open to selling the player for circa €15m.

  1. Given that Lang and De Ketaelere can also play as attacking midfielders, having Politano will also add depth to the right when the aforementioned move into the middle

  2. Get the price down to 10m. Don’t waste any money on messias. Then still go for a top RW & AM and we will be covered.
