Salernitana take on Spezia in the final match of Serie A week 24.

The Granata are desperate for points sitting rock bottom in the table. They welcomed 11 new players in the January transfer window and some of them will make their debut against Thiago Motta’s side.

The likes of Luigi Sepe, Federico Fazio, Emil Bohinen, Ivan Radovanovic and Pasquale Mazzocchi are expected to feature in Stefano Colantuono’s XI.

The coach has lost the first six Serie A games in charge of Salernitana and nobody has ever lost the first seven successive games at home in the history of the tournament.

Contrary to Salernitana, Spezia made no new signings in January because of a transfer ban imposed by FIFA, but Motta has won the last three Serie A games in a row for the first time in the club’s history.

Daniele Verde was involved in three of Spezia’s last four goals in Serie A and will start close to Giulio Maggiore and behind Rey Manaj.

Probable line-ups

Salernitana (4-3-1-2): Sepe; Mazzocchi, Gyomber, Fazio, Ranieri; Bohinen, Radovanovic, L Coulibaly; Ribery; Djuricic, Mousset.

Spezia (4-2-3-1): Provedel; Amian, Erlic, Nikolaou, Reca; Kiwior, Sala; Gyasi, Verde, Maggiore; Manaj.
