Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis agrees with Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola. ‘UEFA and FIFA are killing the players’.
The Spanish coach Guardiola defended his rotation policy at Manchester City and claimed that UEFA and FIFA ‘killed the players’ with the rescheduling of games.
“They are human beings, they are not machines,” Guardiola told reports. “They need rest. UEFA and FIFA killed the players because it’s too much.

“We haven’t had one midweek off since we started, not even one.”
The Partenopei patron supported Guardiola and said he ‘completely agrees’ with the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach.
“I completely agree with what Pep Guardiola said,” De Laurentiis wrote on Twitter. “National Leagues and their fans cannot be ignored.
“In fact, Pep Guardiola says: ‘too many games, UEFA and FIFA are killing the players’.
“This is what I have been saying since I started taking an interest in football! Finally an intelligent and responsible person. Thanks Guardiola.”

Grazie Guardiola #ADL
