Juan Cuadrado was only given the all-clear from COVID-19 this morning, was rushed through a medical and now starts at the Mapei Stadium.
“We are happy to have Cuadrado back, he is a very important player for us, he can play and that’s what matters,” Paratici told RAI Sport.
“Cristiano Ronaldo brings what he does every day, his charisma, character, his support for the team both on and off the field.”
The Supercoppa comes just days after a 2-0 Serie A defeat to Inter and the pressure is growing on Pirlo.
“Clearly, we did not put in a good performance, but playing every three days, there’s no time to ruminate over what happened in the past, we just have to focus on the next match.
“We don’t expect anything in particular. We have great faith in our coach, we’ve had some wonderful matches and some that are less impressive, like all teams, because it’s a very, very complicated season for everyone in these circumstances.
“Like every Final, we’ll give our best and try to win.”
