La Dea trashed Sassuolo 5-1 at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday.

“This team can sometimes lose a little bit of talent, but we are a tough team and hard to overcome,” Gasperini told Sky Sport.

"Over the years we have always had balance. At certain times of the season we could change things up front, but at some point, this became more complicated to do.

“In November we struggled to maintain a certain balance and then we tried different solutions. It happened also when there was Papu Gomez."

Gasperini still hopes Amad Diallo can stay at the club until the end of the season.

“I hope so, if Manchester United could loan him out, it would be the best thing to let him stay with us.”
