“I am extremely happy and honoured to become the new coach of Paris Saint-Germain,” said Pochettino on the club’s official website.
“I thank the club for the confidence placed in me. As you know, this club has always held a special place in my heart. I have wonderful memories, especially of the unique atmosphere at the Parc des Princes.
“This team has fantastic potential and I will do everything with my staff to get the best results in all competitions, to give our team that combative and attacking identity that Parisian supporters have always loved.”
Pochettino’s presence makes PSG the favourites to sign Eriksen from Inter, as the pair already worked together at Tottenham Hotspur.
Eriksen had 255 appearances under Pochettino, scoring 58 goals and providing 75 assists.
