The American businessman celebrates the first anniversary of his Fiorentina presidency.
“It was an intense year, with lots of meetings and many things done.
“There has been criticism that sometimes has gone too far. Not only against me but also against [Daniele] Pradè or Joe Barone.
“Those who criticize them are criticizing me. You cannot criticize them without giving an opportunity to respond.
“Someone says: ‘Rocco you got it wrong with Montella, or with Chiesa.’
“We got Montella wrong but we got Pradè fast, with my company I’m used to giving people an opportunity".
Commisso once again commented on Federico Chiesa's Juventus move.
"A poor immigrant from Calabria had to return to Italy to finance the Agnelli by selling a player with an installment sale.
“No one had brought a definitive offer for Chiesa before, one year ago there was no agreement with Juve, but Chiesa belongs to the past now.
“I’m disappointed in the way he acted, I didn’t get any calls.
“We had to send all the documents to Coverciano because he did not want to come to our training ground to say goodbye. His father Enrico sent me a message, Federico didn’t do it.”
