The German 26-year-old has played all three Serie A matches so far and helped Verona keep two clean sheets against Roma and Udinese, before a 1-0 defeat to Parma.
The goalless draw with the Giallorossi ended in a 3-0 win by default because Amadou Diawara was registered as an Under-22, meaning Verona sit sixth with six points from three games.
