Milan face Inter in the Derby della Madonnina on October 17 and risk being without the influential attacker, who has been out since the third qualifying round of the Europa League against Bodo/Glimt.
The Rossoneri aren’t the only ones who have coronavirus issues ahead of the next round in Serie A and Genoa are the hardest hit side, meaning they could have to travel to Verona with the youth team, should the match scheduled for October 18 go ahead as planned.
And at the other camp in the Milan derby, Inter sweat over the fitness of Alessandro Bastoni and Milan Skriniar.
The two defenders have tested positive for coronavirus and Bastoni was pulled out of the Italy Under-21 squad this week and returned to Milan today.
Skriniar, on the other hand, could face a two-week quarantine in Slovakia if the second swab comes back positive.
