Juventus have been released from their ‘bubble’ after the series of COVID-19 tests all came back negative, with Cristiano Ronaldo even starting for Portugal tonight.
The Bianconeri had been placed into self-isolation at the J Hotel on October 3 following two positive tests for members of staff.
A statement this evening confirms the tests came back negative for the required period, so they have now been released to continue their self-isolation at home.

This comes after Gianluigi Buffon and Merih Demiral were reported to the local ASL for going home, while Juan Cuadrado, Danilo, Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo left Turin on international duty.
This evening, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini were allowed to leave the bubble to join up with the Italy squad for the Nations League games against Poland and the Netherlands on October 11 and 14.
They will continue to be tested regularly by the international team’s medical staff.
Curiously, Cristiano Ronaldo is named in the starting XI for tonight’s Portugal match against Spain, despite being part of the Juventus squad that was put under fiduciary self-isolation on October 3.
