Manchester City are preparing a new and improved offer for Kalidou Koulibaly, claim Italian reports, as the Napoli asking price drops to €70m plus bonuses.
Multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia stated the original bid of €63m was rejected, with President Aurelio De Laurentiis expecting €80m.
Now Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà maintains Manchester City are getting the paperwork ready for a new and improved proposal over the next few days.

Now Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà maintains Manchester City are getting the paperwork ready for a new and improved proposal over the next few days.
It’s not clear yet what that will be, but he claims the Napoli asking price has in turn dropped to €70-73m plus performance-related bonuses.
Part of the reason is that Napoli cannot close for Lille defender Gabriel at €28m without first selling Koulibaly.
They have to start speeding the process up, otherwise Gabriel is ready to agree terms with Arsenal instead.
Sportitalia also point out that Napoli only want cash and are not interested in a player exchange, for example Oleksandr Zinchenko.
