Genoa coach Davide Nicola looks forward to turn things around in ‘a very important match’ against Brescia this weekend: “We know we must improve.”
The Rossoblu were stunned by a Parma earlier this week, as Andreas Cornelius scored a hat-trick helping the Gialloblu to a 4-1 win in Genoa’s first game back.
“It’s a defeat that made us very angry,” Nicola admitted to Sky Sport Italia. “We were unable to do what we wanted, and we are aware that we must improve quickly.

“We don’t like to lose, like everyone else.”
Relegation-threatened Genoa sit 17th in Serie A and face bottom-placed Brescia tomorrow and three points are equally important for both sides.
“It’s a very important game,” Nicola added. “It’s worth three points like the others. Given our positions, it’s very important for both of us.
“We know what we are lacking and now we have to get better.”
