Lazio are expected to sit down with coach Simone Inzaghi to discuss a contract renewal in order to stave off interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Inzaghi has guided the Biancocelesti to the top of the Serie A table for the first time since they last won the Scudetto in 1999-00.
Il Corriere dello Sport states that club President Claudio Lotito will meet with Inzaghi at the end of the season to discuss a renewal.

Inzaghi has guided the Biancocelesti to the top of the Serie A table for the first time since they last won the Scudetto in 1999-00.
Il Corriere dello Sport states that club President Claudio Lotito will meet with Inzaghi at the end of the season to discuss a renewal.
Inzaghi’s contract expires at the end of next season. Should Lazio win the title this season, the coach will receive a €500,000 bonus.
However the Rome daily states that regardless of whether the club win the Scudetto this season or not, Lotito intends to keep Inzaghi.
This is because, according to Il Corriere, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on Inzaghi.
The younger Inzaghi sibling has also been linked with the Juventus job in the past several months.
However the Roman newspaper also states that due to Lazio’s performances this season, Inzaghi’s bargaining power has increased, and he would like a considerably improved contract.
Inzaghi earns an estimated €1.5m per season, whilst Antonio Conte takes home €11m with Inter and Maurizio Sarri €7.5m at Juve.
