Cagliari boss Rolando Maran insists the Sardinians deserve to be in the top four and Radja Nainggolan has proved he is "a true champion."
Maran was speaking to reporters after an event that gathered various coaches, captains, referees and club directors from around the league.
"I expected a positive start to the season, but I didn't expect to be in this position in the table. If we are there, then it is because the lads all deserve it. Our fans are helping us in the correct way, pushing us on and we want to give them a lot of satisfaction.

"The secret to our success is infectious enthusiasm. Winning games, together with enthusiasm, can become a fundamental and winning formula."
Maran then praised Belgium international Nainggolan, who re-joined the club on loan from Inter and has been one of their best players this season so far.
"Radja has always done a great job here. I am very happy that he is with us. He gives us a big hand and he's proved himself a great champion."
Cagliari travel to the Stadio Via del Mare to play Lecce on Sunday.
