Udinese caretaker manager Luca Gotti says goalkeeper Juan Musso had never saved a penalty before today's game against SPAL.
Speaking to Radio Rai after the 0-0 draw against SPAL, the temporary Udinese boss revealed Musso surprised himself with the stoppage-time save on Andrea Petagna.
"Musso had never saved a penalty before, and he picked the right time to start. The save was fundamental in order to create a balanced and compact team, and moments like this help."

Gotti then said he believed the club would appoint a new boss during the international break.
"Now there is a break, and it is only right that the club look for a change of coach. It made sense for the club to keep me until today, and from tomorrow they will start on a new path."
Udinese are 12th in the Serie A table and have picked up their results considerably since sacking Igor Tudor.
