Benfica are reportedly ready to pull the plug on Mattia Perin’s proposed €15m transfer from Juventus, with Monaco waiting in the wings.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Benfica are only prepared to sign Perin in January so he can fully recover from a shoulder injury.
However, Juve do not intend to renegotiate the terms of his move, leading Gazzetta dello Sport to claim the deal is about to break down.
If that happens, the newspaper tips Monaco to possibly swoop in for the 26-year-old.
