Napoli will face Liverpool in a preseason friendly on July 28 at the home of Scottish rugby in Edinburgh.
The two sides were paired in the same Champions League group last season, with Napoli failing to qualify for the knockout stages and Liverpool going on to win their sixth European Cup.
“We are delighted to be able to host this world-class match,” Scottish Rugby chief executive Dominic McKay told BBC Sport.
“This match is a unique opportunity to see international club football in Scotland this summer, a treat for any sports fans.

“The Edinburgh International Festival begins a few days after this fixture so this will add to an already exciting time in the capital city.”
The friendly will be played at Murrayfield, which holds 67,144 spectators.
The Reds also thrashed Carlo Ancelotti’s side 5-0 in a friendly last August.
