“There is the utmost concentration and focus. I am happy that the Coach thinks I am in good shape, but I believe the whole team is doing well,” Il Gallo told Sky Sport Italia.
“We’re coming off an important victory over Milan and will give everything to achieve three points again, even if it will be difficult.
“The Derby is always a special day for us and every citizen of Turin. In our current position, we can be a few points away from the Champions League or missing out on Europe altogether, so we can’t pay too much attention to the table and focus on every single game.”
This match was originally set to be played tomorrow, but was moved because that is the 70th anniversary of the Superga tragedy, which saw the entire Grande Torino team killed in a plane crash.
On Saturday, Belotti will fulfil his role as current Toro captain by standing at the scene and reading out the names of all those who died that day, from players and Coaches to travelling journalists.
“It is extra motivation for us to put in a great performance and hopefully dedicate it to the honour of those immortal champions.”
