Sampdoria won their first pre-season friendly 15-0 with four goals each for Fabio Quagliarella and teenager Ognjen Stijepovic.

Marco Giampaolo’s Blucerchiati had their maiden summer outing against local side Sellero Novelle.

The first half was a dominant display and ended 10-0, with veteran hitman Quagliarella bagging four of them.

Dennis Praet, Joachim Anderson, Leonardo Capezzi and new buy Jakub Jankto were also on target.

Gianluca Caprari was the only player who remained on the field in the second half and could’ve had more than a hat-trick, but fired a penalty against the post.

Stijepovic is certainly one to watch, as the 18-year-old Montenegrin scored four goals.
