Sampdoria goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano has reportedly signed a three-year contract with Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Sporting CP.

Calciomercato.it claims Viviano put pen to paper on Thursday evening after his medical, with only official confirmation of his €2m transfer missing.

The 32-year-old worked under Mihajlovic at Samp during the 2014-15 campaign and is set to replace Rui Patricio, who had been heavily linked with Napoli but ended up joining Wolverhampton Wanderers.
