Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali confirms they’re “ready to listen” to offers for Domenico Berardi and Matteo Politano.
The Neroverdi confirmed this afternoon that Beppe Iachini has been removed as Coach, with Roberto De Zerbi expected to replace him.
“We also tried for De Zerbi last year,” Carnevali admitted to Sky, before turning his attention to the transfer market.

“Our politics is always the same. Our desire is not to lose our best players, but it’s clear that we’ll have to make some evaluations.
“If some of our players are hungry it means the club is doing well. If Politano and Berardi want to make a further leap, we understand there are some offers which can’t be refused.
“We’re open, we’re ready to listen to everyone, but at the moment there’s been no contact.
“There’s been no contact for [Francesco] Acerbi to Lazio or Politano to Inter. [Gianmarco] Ferrari will return to Sassuolo, I don’t think Sampdoria will sign him outright for the agreed figure [€13m].
“After choosing the Coach we’ll think about the players.”
