Radja Nainggolan will reportedly not even make Roma’s matchday squad against Barcelona on Wednesday evening.
Nainggolan was initially expected to be named as a substitute at Camp Nou, but Pagine Romaniste suggests the midfielder will only be a spectator.
His place is set to be taken by Lorenzo Pellegrini, with Daniele De Rossi and Kevin Strootman partnering the Italian in central midfield.
