Schalke 04 sporting director Christian Heidel confirms Marko Pjaca will have a medical today before arriving on loan from Juventus.
The winger is set to arrive on a straight loan deal until the end of the season, as he looks to get back to full fitness after a cruciate ligament injury.
“Ordinarily I hate talking about a transfer unless it’s done,” Heidel told the club’s official website.

“In this case I’ll make an exception. As things stand we’re working on the assumption that Marko Pjaca will come to Benidorm on Thursday, then he’ll have a medical.
“We’ve already defined everything verbally, even in terms of writing everything is defined with Juventus and the player’s representatives.
“All that remains is for the documents to be exchanged.
“Could he stay beyond the summer? We don’t rule anything out, but there’s nothing fixed in the contract.”
