Atalanta are up to eighth in the table following a decent recent run of results, while they have also secured progression to the last 32 of the Europa League.

And Gasperini is calling for his players to continue demonstrating the right mentality to keep on winning.

“For a long time we have had an identity and using that, we look to get our results.

“But it’s a very different League compared to last year, you can’t make comparisons.

“This season, it’s much more even and balanced. We need to keep up the mentality we have shown recently, which has allowed us to move up the table.”
