As a result, the Sunday Express claim that chairman David Sullivan has earmarked Napoli Coach Sarri as the ideal replacement for Bilic.
Sarri, who became Partenopei boss in 2015 after leaving Empoli, has two years left on his deal at the San Paolo.
It is said that West Ham would need to pay a fee of around £7.5m in order to trigger a buy out clause in the 58-year-old’s contract – something they would be prepared to do.
Over the course of his Napoli reign, Sarri has won plaudits around Italian and European football for his tactical acumen and attractive style of football.
