“Belotti still isn’t at his peak,” Mihajlovic told Italian television at the Stadio Olimpico. “With that goal he showed that he is worth €100m.
“It was a difficult match, they made it tight in the first 20 minutes without making a breakthrough.
“The result is maybe a little harsh on them but the win is deserved.
“We did well in Bologna too, both in our play and possession. But we didn’t make it count in that second half.
“Today at home we didn’t concede goals and didn’t risk much compared to last season.
“We need to recover a few injured players, especially up front.”
Belotti, who has a release clause of €100m in his Toro contract, has been heavily linked with Real Madrid over the course of the summer window.
