Gabigol has played just 16 minutes of football with the Nerazzurri since the club paid a fee thought to be in the region of €28m for the striker this summer.

After being left out by former Coach Frank de Boer, it was thought that the former Santos man may be put into the side by new boss Stefano Pioli, but so far this has not proved to be the case.

The same source reports that Inter remain undecided whether to sell the player or let him leave on loan in January, and it is unclear whether the 20-year-old will join a club in Italy, Spain or if he will return to his native Brazil.

Earlier this week the player’s agent revealed that Gabigol was unhappy with his current situation, and confessed that it would be easier for the striker to join another Italian club so that Inter didn’t lose the non-EU slot taken up when the player was purchased from Santos.
