Benfica Coach Rui Vitoria admits they were beaten by “a great team” as Napoli topped the group with a 2-1 result in Lisbon.

Both sides eventually qualified for the Champions League Round of 16, thanks to Besiktas losing 6-0 away to Dynamo Kiev.

“This was a rough group stage, as we left Naples in last place and finished the group in second,” the Coach told Sport TV.

“Napoli took advantage of more situations, they were more effective. It was a balanced game and in the end it was that clinical edge in front of goal that made the difference.
