The Pitagorici were handed yet another defeat by Napoli on Sunday in their first ever season in Italy’s top flight.
It means they now have just one point from their opening nine games, but speaking after the match the tactician insisted there was not much in the contest, which ended 2-1 to the visitors.
“We are convinced that this team can compete with anyone and have a chance to win,” Nicola said.

“We are convinced that this team can compete with anyone and have a chance to win,” Nicola said.
“Napoli had seven shots on goal and we had five, I don’t think there was that much difference [between the teams].
“We were not embarrassed, we are looking for that spark which will make us believe more in what we are doing.
“I liked the second half a lot, in the first half we showed that fear that we need to put behind us.”
