Empoli boss Giovanni Martusciello was pleased with his side’s performance in their goalless draw at Torino.

Though neither side was able to break the deadlock at Stadio Olimpico, it was a credible result on the road for the Azzurri, who now have four points from as many Serie A matches this season.

“The team moved well,” Martusciello told the media in the aftermath of the match in Turin.

Though neither side was able to break the deadlock at Stadio Olimpico, it was a credible result on the road for the Azzurri, who now have four points from as many Serie A matches this season.

“The team moved well,” Martusciello told the media in the aftermath of the match in Turin.

“In the second half, with a little bit of luck, we could have delivered the knockout blow. But I am happy with our collective performance.”

The 45-year-old went on to say that Empoli go into every game with the intent to win, regardless of the opposition.

“We have an idea of playing in a proactive manner, being happy with a draw at Torino is the best way to create confusion!

“On Wednesday against Inter we will try to do even better.”
