“There has been great improvement over the last season. We want the Champions League in order to operate in a consistent manner.
“We want to build a good team, starting from what is already there. We’re aiming for Italian players above all, but there will be less [transfer activity] than last year.
“We’re in talks for Berardi and Candreva, so we’ll see what happens, but not much will change on July 1.
“Suning is considering the possibility of bringing Gabriel Jesus, our Primavera is one of the most important in Italy and I think Chinese football will produce a lot of talents.
“We want to open another Inter academy in Nanjing to grow Chinese players and develop an important relationship with the Chinese team [Jiangsu Suning].
“We’ve signed an agreement regarding FFP [Financial Fair Play], and that’s well known. We believe in the players currently in the team, and in the next transfer window we’ll look for high-level players.”
Club CEO Michael Bolingbroke also discussed the FFP issue.
“There has been a change in the majority ownership, and we’re discussing that with UEFA. We’re in the second year of FFP and there’s the potential for change.”
