Genoa have officially confirmed former Crotone man Ivan Juric as their new Coach.

The Croatian led Crotone to Serie A for the first time ever last season, and has now been named as Gian Piero Gasperini’s replacement.

“Genoa Cricket and Football Club announces that Ivan Juric has officially assumed the post of Coach of the first team,” a statement on the Grifone’s website announced

“Genoa Cricket and Football Club announces that Ivan Juric has officially assumed the post of Coach of the first team,” a statement on the Grifone’s website announced

“In a ‘welcome back’ to the new Coach and his assistants, the club announces that Stjepan Ostojić has been named as assistant coach, and Professor Alberto Corradi as technical collaborator.

“The presentation to the media will take place today, June 28, in the Press room at Centro Sportivo Gianluca Signorini at 18.00 [17.00 UK time].”

Juric started his career with he Genoa youth teams, having ended his playing career with the Grifone, before being assistant and Inter and Palermo, then head Coach at Mantova and Crotone.
