The Giallorossi vice-captain was caught on television appearing to describe the Juventus forward as “a damn gypsy” during a confrontation in last night’s match.
However, Calciomercato reports that television evidence will not be considered by the Lega Serie A disciplinary committee, so De Rossi will avoid a fine or suspension.

The Italian international also stood on Mandzukic’s toe, but was booked for the incident at the time and so will receive no further punishment.
