Dejan Stankovic says ‘Roberto Mancini is surprising everyone’ at Inter and that ‘England was good for him.’
The Serbian is Mancio’s assistant coach at the Nerazzurri and also praised his ‘phenomenal relationship’ with the former Manchester City boss.
“We’re aiming for the Champions League, even with all the changes we’ve made,” Stankovic told Serbian newspaper Sportske Novosti.
“The Scudetto? We’ll see, the season is long and I think the race will be open until the last day.

“We lost the last two games at home against Sassuolo and Lazio, these things can happen. But we want to and can go all the way.
“We’re a great team, technically excellent and rich with talent. And Mancini has invented something new.
“He always changes formation so the opposing Coach never knows who will come out onto the pitch, but we’re also always close to him. He’s surprising everyone.
“We were teammates, and then he coached me. Our collaboration has gone on for years, our relationship is phenomenal.
“Mancini has matured a lot as a Coach, England was good for him, he came back to Italy a changed man.”
