The midfielder sat out training yesterday having suffered a knock in the win over Azerbaijan, and will play no part against the Norwegians.
“He took a knock to the calf,” Conte explained in his pre-match Press conference, when the subject of Verratti was raised.

“I’d have risked him if this was a decisive match, but I’d rather not [for this game]. He’s shown a great attachment to the shirt.”
