FIFA have banned President Joseph Blatter, Vice-President and UEFA President Michel Platini and others for 90 days over corruption charges.

The eminent football officials will be banned from all football-related activities for that time as the FIFA Ethics Committee continues an investigation into corruption charges.

FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke, who was already put on leave, is banned for the same number of days, as communicated by FIFA themselves in an official statement on their site.

In addition, former Vice-President Chung Mong-joon has been found guilty of several infringements on the FIFA Code of Ethics and has been banned for six years. He has also been fined CHF 100,000.
