Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik says the club will ‘do everything’ to return to the Champions League for next season.
The Partenopei have dropped to fifth in Serie A after four games without a win, and Rafa Benitez’s men are now five points behind Lazio in the third and final Champions League spot.
“We’ve had some difficulties, probably because of European commitments,” Hamsik admitted in an interview with Slovakian website Sport.

“I’m convinced we’ll go back to getting results soon. Things will change.
“The Champions League? We still regret being eliminated [in the qualifying rounds] last year, and we’ll try to fight until the end to get back in.
“There are still 10 games to go, we’ll do everything to achieve that goal.”
