The Blucerchiati chief has already shown sympathy towards the Ducali’s plight with yesterday's offer that his team would pay the travel expenses for Parma's youth squad, who are due to play Sampdoria's Primavera next.
This morning Ferrero published an open letter on his club's site in defence of the Gialloblu.

This morning Ferrero published an open letter on his club's site in defence of the Gialloblu.
“I've only been in football for a few months, but I believe the FIGC, the Lega [Serie A], the COVISOC, and the refereeing associations are all serious institutions that ought to be respected,” reads the letter.
“Let's not look for heads to roll at all costs. Our objective has to be different.
“Italian football cannot be indifferent to the maturity and the professionalism shown by the Parma players as they face an extremely difficult situation.
“I was struck by the words of Captain [Alessandro] Lucarelli, especially when he explained that their choices in the last few months – choices worthy of champions – were among other things intended to preserve respect for the supporters and for the club's staff.
“For this reason I'd rather not hear about bankruptcy but about reconstruction.
“The world's gaze is on us. We must show ourselves strong and united for Lucarelli and all of his teammates, as well as the youth squad and the Parma supporters.
“We must give them the opportunity to play, to keep honouring the colours they wear.
“I'm not a Coach, but I believe that all Serie A Presidents should get together, and quickly.
“They must consider a 'commission' or something along those lines, so that the team can keep playing the 2014-15 season.
“The Lega Serie A has the quality and the experience to intervene, leaving out of this discussion the institutions not related to the sport, and whose interests are external.
“I thank the players and all the staff at Parma. I consider them to be heroes.
“Now let's move on to the facts. Myself and Sampdoria call ourselves in, and we're sure that all the Presidents of the Lega can do the same.”
